Madonna Foorumi - Finland

Olin aivan tohkeissani kun luin tuota. Aikaisemmin enemmänkin vain huhupuheina liikkunut tieto musikaalista sai ilmeisesti tämän jutun myötä "virallisen tiedon" leiman, koska tieto tulee sentään itseltään Madonnalta.

Kyseessä on siis ilmeisesti Hello Sucker! joka kertoo Texas Guinanin tarinan.

Ja kun muistellaan edellistä Madonnan musikaalia Evita, joka oli loistava menestys kaikkialla. En uskalla odottaa mitään vähempää

"PB: What can we expect next from the artist MADONNA?"

"M: I'm working on a musical, a movie. All is strictly secret. But I can tell you: It's going to be really cool.The shooting has already begun. I'm not only playing the leading role, but I'm also writing the music. Beside Jonas Akerlund did a documentary about my last tour, it's being on work right now and should be released in spring"

This could be confirm that Madonna really is working on new musical album, not studio album as we thought!!

Pop superstar MADONNA has landed a starring role in a new MARTIN SCORSESE musical movie - playing a gun-slinging cowgirl.

The MATERIAL GIRL has signed to play silent movie actress and legendary daredevil bareback horsewoman TEXAS GUINAN in the a new film about her life, called HELLO SUCKER!

Madonna - who bares an uncanny likeness to Guinan - will also co-produce the movie, which focuses on her career as a nightclub hostess and stage performer. "Hello Sucker!" was her catchphrase.

Sources say the singer hopes the role will give her the chance to dazzle onscreen after disappointing performances in her previous big screen outings SHANGHAI SURPRISE, DESPERATELY SEEKING SUSAN and 2002 flop SWEPT AWAY.

An insider says, "This project is really personal for Madonna as she worships Guinan. Critical acclaim in movies is also the one thing that has eluded her but this is a special film with big names involves.

"Madonna has already recorded an album worth of songs and is determined to make it work."

Scorsese will co-produce the movie with Madonna and JEREMY SCOTT - the man behind her AMERICAN LIFE music video - will take on directorial duties.

Madonna will record the soundtrack and release it as her next album, with the first single being a cover of 1920s hit THERE'LL BE SOME CHANGES MADE.

Madonna snapped up rights to Hello Sucker! in 2001 and COURTNEY LOVE was originally cast as Guinan, before her drug troubles ruled her out of the role.
