Madonna esiintyy jättihyväntekeväisyys konsertissa Lontoossa 2.7,konsertti nähdään toivottavasti suorana Suomessakin! !

Brittiläisen rock- ja konserttibisneksen parhaat voimat ovat lähteneet toteuttamaan Live 8 -konsertteja "poliittisen oikeuden tuomiseksi Afrikkaan".

MADONNA will duet with STING at London’s Live 8 gig on July 2.

It’s a collaboration which will go down in history and is perfect for the biggest gig of the decade.

Reports suggest the pair could sing John Lennon's classic Imagine.

A source said: "They have had a discussion about performing a cover version. They thought about a Beatles song or maybe Imagine. Madonna sang it on her Re-Invention tour."

Siis duettopari on parhaasta päästä, mutta mikäli kappalevalinta osuu Imagineen niin... noh. Toivottavasti tapahtuma todellakin näytetään myös Suomessa jollakin valtakunnallisella kanavalla...

Se joka haluaa tonne, tsekkaa webistä tekstiviestilotteryn numero ( löytyy varmaan Live-8 nimisten sivujen alta) tai hanki se joltain brittikamulta tai siellä asuvalta suomaliselta maanantai aamuna. Siis tekstiviestilottery on arvonta jolla onnekkaat 150000 ihmistä arvotaan Hyde Parkiin. Olin eilen yhteydessä Britteihin ja valitettavasti en vielä tiedä voiko suomalaisilla liittymillä osallistua. Itse haluisin ainaskin lipun jollain tapaa

Last night our team member Wannabe informed our readers about a Madonna segment to be shown during UK morning tv show GMTV. Our friend Gayle from London informs us that in the segment Madonna talked about her upcoming Live 8 performance.

"I'm looking forward to see Coldplay perform" Madonna said.
When asked by a Uk reporter: Is it true you're going to perform the finale with Sting? she said: "No, no, I'm not staying that late. I think I'm going in the middle of the show but I don't actually know what time".

"You played Live Aid and you're playing Live 8. What are you going to sing?

I think I'll do 'Ray of Light' and 'Like a Prayer', and the rest is a secret. The concert's in Hyde Park, and I live right down the street, so it's terribly convenient."

Hitsi, vielä kun olis tallentava DVD ku ei viittis VHS:lle ruveta nauhottelee kun siinä on niin huono äänen- ja kuvanlaatu....

No kyllähän se on melkein 100% varmaa että joku nauhoittaa tuon esiintymisen ja laittaa sen nettiin jakeluun,joten älä huoli.

YLE Teema esittää 2.7.2005 11 tuntia suoraa lähetystä Bob Geldofin masinoimista Live 8 –konserteista klo 17.00 – n. 04.00.

TV2 esittää koosteita konserteista suorana lähetyksenä klo 17.00 - 18.00, 18.45 - 21.00 ja 22.20 – n. 04.00. Lähetyksissä on suomenkielinen selostus.
